Piling
in Rock
Experience in the construction of
structures where ground conditions are predominantly rock has led us to
develop large and small diameter rock drilling methods together with controlled
rock blasting where required. This allows the construction of the following
structural elements founded in rock.
- Sheet pile walls driven into presplit rock trench
- Sheet pile walls concreted into drilled, blasted
and dredged trench
- Tubular piles driven into drilled and blasted
socket
- Tubular piles with drilled rock spigot
- Combi wall with rock spigoted tubular piles
Additional Operations
In addition to piling we are able to offer the client civil engineering
services whereby the following post piling operations may be carried out:-
- Installation of tie bars and wailings
- Installation of reinforced concrete decks and
capping beams
- Installation of fendering systems and quay furniture
