Quality Record

The company has an excellent record in the quality of work that has been carried out heretofore. At no time in the past had the company to carry out any work during the maintenance period of any contract undertaken by the company. In fact, pressure pipelines constructed by the company have the lowest leakage rate of any system in the country.

We have been recommended for quality award in the past due to the high quality of our concrete finishes. The internal systems put in place by the company since 1985 have served the company very well. Some of our quality control systems are computerised in relation to concrete control and every pour of concrete is traceable by date, class of concrete, workability, structure, location within the structure, cube number, and characteristic strength for 7, 14 and 28 days.

Other statistical information giving the mean strength and standard deviation are also calculated on computer to compare with anticipated target mean strengths as outlined in our detailed method statements. All steel reinforcement used by the company is CARES approved.

All suppliers and subcontractors used by the company have a long track record supplying the company with quality materials of known origin and compliance with the highest BS, IS and European Standards. Some of our suppliers have been consistently supplying us since January 5th 1985.

All design in relation to temporary works is designed in-house and to date we have never had a failure of concrete or formwork.

The company prides itself on providing value for money, completing the contracts on time with the minimum of disruption to the client. The Company utilises the most modern computerised planning software to produce Programme of Works so as to complete the work on time. To date we have completed all contracts undertaken by the company on time and within budget. If contract values increased it was due to variations to the works pursuant to clause 51. In that regard, the appropriate extensions of time pursuant to the IEI contract conditions were issued by the Engineer as defined in the contract.
